Pool-in-Wharfedale CE Primary School, recently rated “good” by Ofsted, the Pool-in-Wharfedale CE Primary School is a popular choice among parents in the local area. The school proudly refer to themselves as 'The Pool School Family' and instil in all their pupils a desire to look after each other and celebrate diversity. For secondary education there is a choice of schools in the closely neighbouring suburbs of Leeds including Benton Park School in Rawdow and Prince Henry’s Grammar School in Otley.

Weeton Train Station is just five mins away from Pool-in-Wharfedale by car and there are regular trains to Leeds city centre, York and Knaresborough. Leeds Bradford Airport is just 8 minutes by car from Pool-in-Wharfedale making it conveniently close for family holidays abroad and even business travel. The A660 runs from Leeds City Centre all the way to Burley-in-Wharfedale, providing quick and easy road access between the city and the north Leeds suburbs.

This forest park overlooks the popular market town of Otley and is a designated nature reserve. It offers spectacular views of the Wharfe Valley and is abundant with local wildlife. It’s open all year round and is ideal for walking, cycling, horse riding, climbing and bouldering.

Leeds and Harrogate are both within a 25 minute drive away and the beautiful Yorkshire countryside is even closer. Otley, Chevin and Ilkley are also nearby, so there is no shortage of easily accesible shops, cafes, pubs, bars and parks to enjoy, as well as the weekly Otley farmer's market. Alongside this great location, Pool-in-Wharfedale also offers young families a safe environment with exceptionally low crime rates and the primary school is Ofsted rated "good"
