Pool-in-Wharfedale CE Primary School, recently rated “good” by Ofsted, the Pool-in-Wharfedale CE Primary School is a popular choice among parents in the local area. The school proudly refer to themselves as 'The Pool School Family' and instil in all their pupils a desire to look after each other and celebrate diversity.
For secondary education there is a choice of schools in the closely neighbouring suburbs of Leeds including Benton Park School in Rawdon and Prince Henry’s Grammar School in Otley.
Transport
Weeton Train Station is just five mins away from Pool-in-Wharfedale by car and there are regular trains to Leeds city centre, York and Knaresborough.
Leeds Bradford Airport is just 8 minutes by car from Pool-in-Wharfedale making it conveniently close for family holidays abroad and even business travel.
The A660 runs from Leeds City Centre all the way to Burley-in-Wharfedale, providing quick and easy road access between the city and the north Leeds suburbs.
