Otley is just 10 minutes by car from Leeds Bradford Airport. The A65 runs north west from Leeds in Yorkshire via Kirkstall, Horsforth, Yeadon, Guiseley, Otley, Ilkley and Skipton, passes west of Settle, then continues through Ingleton and Kirkby Lonsdale before terminating at Kendal in Cumbria.
Wharfe meadows Park lies alongside the River Wharfe and has beautiful gardens where you can take a leisurely walk, go on the river on a boat or pedalo, or just sit and watch the world go by. It’s perfect for active family day out. Otley sailing club run regular family sailing sessions and junior training leading to the RYA Junior Sailing Awards. They also host a full racing programme on Sunday’s throughout March to November and puts on a variety of social events throughout the year.
