Transport
The East Leeds Orbital Route is a key part of East Leeds, helping to create a major connectivity for the city. The first phase was completed in December 2019 and the works are due to be completed by Autumn 2022.

Lotherton Hall is an absolute GEM of an attraction, found in Aberford just on the eastern outskirts of Leeds. With 8 acres of ground to explore, including landscaped gardens, an orchard and famous bird house, as well as the beautiful Edwardian house full of history, you sure won’t be short of things to see and do.
Skelton Lake Walk is another amazing walk with family, friends, even the dog! In total the walk is just over 5 miles and pure bliss around the lake, finished off with a play in the play area for the little ones. You can finish your walk with a nice meal at one of the many restaurants they have.

If you are looking for places to eat, then look no further than Cross Gates. There’s no shortage of Greek restaurants, Zorbas Bar and Grill and The Black Olive, if you fancy Italian why not try La Cantina. There really is something to tickle everyone’s tastebuds.
The Springs
The Springs at Leeds Thorpe Park has everything you could need, shopping, food and drinks, gym and even a cinema. What’s better, is that it’s located just off Junction 46 of the M1 – so not far to travel at all!
