The Adel Dam Nature Reserve is a woodland and wetland nature reserve that covers approximately 8 hectares. There are circular walking trails throughout the reserve and plenty of opportunities to enjoy closeups of the local wildlife including Woodpeckers and Mandarin Ducks. Golden Acre Park sits in 179 acres of mature woodlands and gardens, all focused around an attractive lake that;’s home to a number of native animals. At the heart of the park is the demonstration garden which follows the latests trends and fashions in horticulture to give nearby gardners plenty of inspiration for their out patch of land. Ideal if you’ve just moved into a new build home! There is also rock gardens, a bog and courtyard to explore as well.

Surrounded by no less than 44 acres of woodland, the rustic yet chic Chevin Country Park and Hotel Spa offers guests a beautiful space to relax. There is also a gourmet restaurant with a rooftop terrace and an informal bar and lounge. It’s well worth a visit whether you simple stay for dinner or the whole weekend.
