Pudsey is a market town in West Yorkshire, located midway between Bradford and Leeds.

There are several recreational parks in Pudsey, and the largest is Pudsey Park; which boasts a Pet’s Corner, aquarium, bird houses, tropical greenhouse, a "Pudsey Bear" and a large play area for children. It also hosts the new West Leeds Country Park Visitor Centre.

Pudsey town centre has many amenities, plus a shopping centre which includes many high street chain stores and independent retailers and Pudsey's market operates on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.

Pudsey train station is on the Calder Valley line from Leeds to Bradford Interchange, Blackpool, Ellesmere Port, Manchester, Chester, Huddersfield. Leeds Outer Ring Road, also known as the A6120, is a main strategic route for the city of Leeds. At approximately 25 miles long, it runs from Beeston to Bramley, almost circling the entire city. It also connects with the M1 motorway.

Fulneck Golf Club, believed to be the oldest golf club in Leeds, is a mature nine hole parkland course set in the grounds of a family friendly club house.The club enjoys views overlooking the impressive Fulneck valley and Tong Hall in the distance. Created on a floodplain in the Kirkstall Valley, the wetland habitats created here are designed to complement the nearby River Aire and the Leeds & Liverpool Canal. The aim of the Rodley Nature Reserve is to bring wetland wildlife back to Leeds as well as educating people about the creatures that live here. It runs a busy calendar of events throughout the year and is ideal for a family day out.

Owlcotes Shopping Centre is already a hub for shopping in Pudsey offering everything from an Asda store to a Marks & Spencers. It is also the subject of regeneration plans for the area as well, with intentions to introduce a further parade of shops and restaurants on the cards. Bradford’s Industrial Museum has permanent displays of textile machinery, steam power, engineering, printing machinery and motor vehicles as well as an exciting exhibitions programme. It also offers live demonstrations of the machines in use, making it an exciting and educational day out.
