Location

Headingley itself is home to Beckett Park, Leeds Beckett University and the Headingley Stadium which is why this particular suburb of Leeds is known for its cosmopolitan culture and lively atmosphere. There are several excellent restaurants right on Headingley's doorstep too, in particular Santorini and The Cat's Pyjamas, which both come highly recommended and there's no shortage of excellent pubs and bars either.

  • Otley Road takes you straight through Headingley and into Leeds city centre

  • The A6120, otherwise known as the Leeds outer ring road begins in Belle Isle, travels around most of the city’s perimeter before it ends at junction 46 on the M1.

  • Headingley has its own train station, just of Kirkstall Lane, which operates regular trains into Leeds, Knaresborough and York.
