Baildon railway station provides excellent connections to Bradford Forster Square and Ilkley, where connections can be made to the rest of Yorkshire and the UK.

The main road through Baildon is the A6038 Otley Road.
Baildon C of E Primary School is set in extensive grounds featuring beautiful scenery and outdoor play areas. It has also been rated Outstanding by Ofsted so it’s no surprise that this is one of the most popular primary schools in the Baildon area. Salts Mill is an historic building in the nearby model village of Saltaire. It’s reknowned for art, dining and shopping and is currently home to a large collection of works by David Hockney. It also hosts events and exhibitions throughout the near and it sits at the heart of Saltaire, an official UNESCO World Heritage site.
Bradford Industrial Museum has permanent displays of textile machinery, steam power, engineering and motor vehicles on show and it also runs an exciting programme of temporary exhibitions as well. The education team also host frequent workshops and events that really make this museum ideal for a family day out.
