A Commuter Town In West Leeds
Farsley is considered a commuter town thanks to it's fantastic location just 6 miles west of Leeds and 4 miles east of Bradford. It lies just off the A6110 which is the Leeds outer ring road connecting the two cities and the New Pudsey railway station, located between Farsley and nearby Pudsey provides regular train services to Manchester Victoria and Blackpool as well.
Farsley has far more to offer than just great transport connections though.Town Street boasts a Co-op store, post office, several independent retailers and an impressive collection of no less than four pubs and a wine bar. There are also three primary schools and a secondary school in the local area and a number of sports clubs. For everything else, Pudsey is just down the road and there is a large Asda in Stanningley.
The community is Farsley is an active one too. The Farsley Festival takes place in Haworth Park in the summer and the town also takes part in the Leeds 10K and hosts a Christmas Lights event and Aston Martin Day.
