Help to Move Scheme

Moving house is one of the most stressful times in your life and this can be doubled when you have a house to sell.

Our Sales Advisor is on hand to offer a personalised service to assist you through the process of selling your own property.

The Chartford Help to Move package enables you to reserve the new home of your choice for a limited period to give you the best opportunity of selling your existing home within that period, with the added bonus of the agents fees being paid by Chartford Homes.

Here’s How It Works:

Our Sales Advisor will take the first steps by arranging independent valuations of your home by local reputable Estate Agents operating in your area. As speed is of the essence, the Agents will contact you as soon as possible to arrange the valuations.

Once the valuation figures are back our Sales Manager will discuss them with you with the aim of putting the property on the market to achieve a sale within a 4 to 6 week period. At this point the purchase price of your new Chartford Home will be agreed and we will enter into a formal reservation. A reservation fee from £1000 will be payable, but refundable in the event of a sale not reaching exchange.

What Happens Next

Working with the appointed Estate Agents, our Sales Manager will ensure that the marketing of your property is conducted in the best possible way with dedicated advertising, colour brochures and high profile displays.

Through every step of the process our Sales Advisor will keep you informed of progress, taking the strain of selling your home away and seeing the whole transaction through to exchange of contracts.

If the appointed Agent is unable to find a purchaser for you existing house within the required timescale, our Sales Advisor will keep you informed of any other interest there may be in your choice of new home and will discuss with you the options available to you at that time.
