Otley is just 10 minutes by car from Leeds Bradford Airport. The A65 runs north west from Leeds in Yorkshire via Kirkstall, Horsforth, Yeadon, Guiseley, Otley, Ilkley and Skipton, passes west of Settle, then continues through Ingleton and Kirkby Lonsdale before terminating at Kendal in Cumbria.

The 180 hectares of the Chevin Forest Park are crisscrossed by paths and there are facilities for walking, mountain biking, picnicking or simply enjoying the great outdoors. It’s perfect for active family day out. Otley sailing club run regular family sailing sessions and junior training leading to the RYA Junior Sailing Awards. They also host a full racing programme on Sunday’s throughout March to November and puts on a variety of social events throughout the year.
