Leeds Bradford Airport is just 8 minutes by car from Bramhope making it conveniently close for family holidays abroad and even business travel. Otley Road takes you straight through Headingley and into Leeds city centre The A65 runs North West through Leeds via places like Ilkley and Skipton, all the way up to Kendal in Cumbria. The A61 connects north and south Yorkshire, running almost parallel to the M1 from Sheffield through Leeds and up to Harrogate.

The Adel Dam Nature Reserve is a woodland and wetland nature reserve that covers approximately 8 hectares. There are circular walking trails throughout the reserve and plenty of opportunities to enjoy closeups of the local wildlife including Woodpeckers and Mandarin Ducks. Golden Acre Park sits in 179 acres of mature woodlands and gardens, all focused around an attractive lake that;’s home to a number of native animals. At the heart of the park is the demonstration garden which follows the latests trends and fashions in horticulture to give nearby gardners plenty of inspiration for their out patch of land. Ideal if you’ve just moved into a new build home! There is also rock gardens, a bog and courtyard to explore as well.

Surrounded by no less than 44 acres of woodland, the rustic yet chic Chevin Country Park and Hotel Spa offers guests a beautiful space to relax. There is also a gourmet restaurant with a rooftop terrace and an informal bar and lounge. It’s well worth a visit whether you simple stay for dinner or the whole weekend.

Leeds city centre is just five miles away and easily accessible thanks to the road links and bus routes. Harrogate is also within approximately half an hour's drive and Leeds/Bradford Airport is on the doorstep for trips further afield.

It's not all hustle and bustle in Bramhope though and while the local area has all the important amenities on hand and number of well established independent businesses, there are also plenty of green open spaces and rural landscapes ready to explore.
